The Melting Pot

This is another story where I must warn you to NEVER do this under any circumstances. Okay, with the warning out of the way I can continue. One day, when we were younger, my brother and I decided that we were going to make a fire. Instead of making the fire in our fire pit outside, we decided to try something else. We figured we could use some kind of bowl that would contain the fire in a small location. We would place the bowl on the drive way, fill it up with sticks and light the sticks on fire. This way we could have a nice little fire to ourselves.
So we searched the house for a "bowlish" object that we could use to contain the fire. We eventually decided to use an empty flowerpot that we found in the garage. After cleaning it out we placed it in the driveway and started collecting sticks to put in the center. We made sure to put newspaper on the bottom and put the sticks on top. I than took a lighter and set the newspaper on fire. The fire soon caught on and began to grow.
We noticed that parts of the flowerpot were melting away. The edges were melting like the wax on a candle. Soon the bottom of the pot melted from underneath and the whole thing fell apart. The burning stinks fell across the ground, burning what was left of the pot. Luckily, we were able to put out the fire and no harm came to us. When it was over, what had been a beautiful flowerpot was now a pile of plastic melted to the driveway. Mom and Dad weren't happy.
